How much walking is there on the Red Tour?
About 3 km over the whole day, in short stretches, with some steps at the Open Air Museum and Uçhisar Castle. Comfortable shoes are enough; the Green Tour is the one with a real hike. Green Tour (South Cappadocia).
Red Tour or Green Tour, which should I do first?

Is lunch included?
Yes, a sit-down lunch in Avanos with soup, a main and salad. Vegetarian and vegan plates on request; drinks are paid on the spot. All day tours.
Can I do a balloon flight and the Red Tour on the same day?

Does the Red Tour run in winter?

Mehmet knew every cave church and the story behind each fresco. Lunch with a local family, not a buffet.

Fourteen of us in a minibus, not forty on a coach. The frescoes in the Open Air Museum alone were worth the day, and lunch by the river was a proper meal.

Well paced, never rushed. The pottery stop is a sales pitch but a gentle one, and Uçhisar at the end was the best view of the trip.
