How much walking is on the Green Tour?
About 5 km in total, most of it the flat 4 km riverside path in Ihlara Valley, plus 360 steps down into the canyon at the start. Hiking in Cappadocia.
Is Derinkuyu suitable for claustrophobic guests?
Some passages are low and narrow. The guide can take a shorter route that stays on the wider upper levels, or you can wait at the café at the entrance. Derinkuyu and Kaymaklı explained.
Should I do the Green Tour or the Red Tour?
With one day, the Red Tour covers the sights most people come for. With two, do the Red first and the Green second; they never repeat a stop. Red vs Green compared.
Is lunch included?
Yes, a sit-down lunch by the river in Belisırma. Drinks are paid on the spot. All day tours.
Does the Green Tour run in winter?
Every day. In heavy snow the Ihlara steps can be closed; the guide then walks the valley from the Belisırma end instead. Cappadocia in winter.
